BIS-WIST operates BIS-WIST Jang Yeong Sil after-school science classes at special education schools, children centers, elementary student childcare centers, and resident community centers, in conjunction with Educational Human Resources Development Project of Nam-gu, Busan (RHRD), administered and executed by Nam-gu Office and Nambu Office of Education. Nam-gu Office, Busan hosted Educational Cooperation Festival in an effort to promote lifetime education and the image of an education city on the campus of Pukyong National University during April 26-27, 2008. BIS-WIS provided the scientific experiment education zone on behalf of Nam-gu Office.
Teachers of BIS-WIST Jang Yeong Sil after-school classes participated in the event and promoted scientific approach and interest by providing events such as making cotton candies, kaleidoscopes, and luminous sticks.
